The RISC Forum 2025 is co-organized by York University's Centre of Actuarial Excellence at York University - Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the Risk and Insurance Studies Centre, Inc, and is financially supported by Mitacs, Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), Accenture, and the American Risk and Insurance Association.

In an era of rapid technological advancements, interconnected global systems, and evolving societal challenges, systemic risks have come to the forefront as critical issues that demand attention and innovative solutions. As such, understanding and managing these complex risks requires a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach.

RISC FORUM 2024

The RISC Forum 2024, organized by the Risk and Insurance Studies Centre (RISC Foundation) in collaboration with the University of Toronto’s Department of Statistical Sciences, serves as a platform for academic researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to exchange ideas on emerging issues in systemic risk.

This year’s event will focus on advancements in systemic risk modeling, analysis, and management, covering both theoretical and practical approaches to addressing uncertainty and interconnectedness in risks.
