The Risk and Insurance Studies Centre (RISC) is excited to announce that registration is now open for the upcoming Risk Education and Literacy (REaL) Virtual Weekend Bootcamp—a free, two-day online learning experience designed specifically for Canadian high school students.Scheduled for August 16 and 17, 2025, this engaging bootcamp will help students learn how to make better, more informed decisions even when outcomes are uncertain. Through interactive games, real-world scenarios, and peer collaboration, participants will develop critical thinking and decision-making skills that apply to everyday life, school, and future careers.
Program Details
- Dates: August 16–17, 2025 (Weekend)
- Location: 100% Virtual
- Cost: Free of charge
- Eligibility: Open to students in Grades 9–12 across Canada
- Requirements: Internet access and parental permission; no prior experience needed
